Authentic Portuguese restaurant with a name to remember!!

700views

A good brand name can make or break any product, company or establishment. To stand out from competition it is important to always opt for a name that gets people talking, asking and more importantly wondering. Why? It’s  your first unique selling point before your product is tried and tested. Hence, when i was tasked with the job of reviewing London’s newest piri-piri chicken restaurant i was intrigued by the remarkable restaurants name choice. Fire and Feathers is a brand new Portuguese restaurant which launched a few months ago in  South Kensington. It is already proving very successful amongst it’s local residents and judging by the fantastic staff, great food and great hospitality it is clear to see that the future for Fire and Feathers is definitely looking bright. “We are passionate about hospitality and authenticity from the ingredients right through to our recipe”  said Harry Deighton , Founder of the Fire and Feathers.

Harry Deighton has succeeded in his vision which stems from his childhood memories on holidays to the Algarve.  He told us the exciting journey he took to realise his dream of owning his first London restaurant.  Harry’s story is  truly inspirational with a clear demonstration of sheer commitment to making his dream a reality. We chose the garlic prawns as starters which i can recommend as one of the best i have had in a long time. They were large, meaty, spicy and marinated in a secret recipe. The prawns arrived shelled but with the heads waiting to be snapped off. We also ordered the piri piri chicken and i must say compliments to the Chef. Simply Delicious..!!

There are four choices for starters, mains and desserts. Chicken platters  feature three choices of seasoning – garlic, piri piri and Dynamite (extra hot). Main course also includes  seabass and a chicken sandwich,  salad and some great side dishes such as African rice.
