Fashion’s biggest week is just around the corner!!!


london-fashion-week-2From innovative product launches, inspirational exhibitions and breathtaking catwalks London SS16 Fashion Week is definitely worth the 32,000 miles driven between shows by Mercedes Benz chauffeurs.

Fashion has relocated to an edgier, artier location; home of the uniquely dressed and ‘be yourself’ approach, Soho. This September, the 62nd edition of London Fashion
Week will showcase in Brewer Street Car Park for the five-day extravaganza. The Spring Summer 2016 collection will showcase
the work of 78 designers to UK and international press and buyers. Kicking off proceedings will be Maya Magel x Amber Anderson with the Launch Party on Thursday and this year LFW also welcomes emerging designers Le Kilt, Marques’ Almeida and Phoebe English.

christopher-raeburn-catwalk-london-fashion-week-2014-1Designers Ashish, Erdem, Gareth Pugh, Nicholas Kirkwood and Roksanda will celebrate their 10th anniversaries, and we’ll see the return of global brands including Anya Hindmarch, Burberry Prorsum, Hunter Original, Paul Smith, Pringle of Scotland, Topshop Unique and Vivienne Westwood Red Label who will show alongside Christopher Kane, David Koma, Emilia Wickstead, Jonathan Saunders, JW Anderson, Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto, Simone Rocha, Sophia Webster and Thomas Tait.

Highlights of the week include: Hussein Chalayan (MBE) celebrating 21 years in business through his skills of designing, promoting and selling innovative garments. Other highlights will include, the “modern and unexpected reinterpretation of a fashion show” in Louis Vuitton Series 3-Past, Present, Future Exhibition. There will also be some friendly competition as Versace throws their SS16 After-Party promoting their new collection Versus. On the second evening Georgia May Jagger will follow on her creative family gene with her Minnie Mouse Style Icon Exhibition launch. The photographs will stage the Disney character as a fashion icon from the 30’s to the present-day.
