Food & Drinks at Balls Brothers, Bury Court…

910views

Last week, we made a trip down to Bury Court which is situated right at the foot of the Gherkin. Bury Court is another restaurant/bar offering from the popular Balls Brothers chain and serves up quality British cuisine with a contemporary edge in an intimate, welcoming setting. PR Representative, Maria Edstrom was on hand to go through the extensive food menu and wine list . The wine list features wines from across the globe and a range of beers, cocktails, champagne and spirits as standard. The Balls Brothers are already known as the purveyors of good quality wines, so it did’nt come as a surprise that the drinks menu was up to par and with the combination of a welcoming bar with plenty of character. It is also an ideal location for after-work drinks in the city. We also had the chance to sample the menu. For starters, i ordered the potted shrimp with dressed little gem and warm toast and for my main course… I opted for the Cut of the day which was steak and included roasted mushrooms & tomatoes, thick cut chips and a choice of pepper sauce or garlic & parsley butter. “Fantastic food coupled with great service” my guest for the evening exclaimed and i agree. The general decor, high ceilings and large windows on two sides create a light and airy feel. The open kitchen heightens the buzz of the energetic atmosphere as chefs prepare a selection of hot and cold meals. Again, the Balls Brothers have managed to pull it off again with another fantastic offering in the heart of London’s buzzing city.
