We caught up with Enoka for an interview to talk about her inspirations and music career so far..

What inspired you to get into music?
It may seem like a cliché, but I must say my first glimpse at Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, I just had to try and do what they did haha. I have Always loved to entertain and started at young age in front of my parents and their friends and on every school break, every chance I got.

How would you describe your music?
I love all kind of styles. My songs are all very different and that is just what I way to show you guys, that I can master more than just one genre. From urban, 80’s. pop to R&B.

What would you say is your recording and song writing style?
I have been recording with professional producers since I was 16 years old, doing demos for artist and background vocals. By doing this with professionals at this young age I have been trained well how to sing and to use my English part to amazing success. In terms of my writing style, it often starts with a melody, then a story in my head or a feeling, and that often gives me the the inspiration to move into lyrics. I am currently preparing to write my third song.

Where would you like to see your music career in 5 years time?
I will show the World that being in your 40’s, a mother and a wife, working full time and having a passion and dream can certainly come true. I will also like to inspire the message that as long as you believe in your self, have the support from family and friends and fans everything is infact possible.
