Double Tree by Hilton celebrates it’s new Chelsea Location
To celebrate the launch of its new Chelsea location DoubleTree by Hilton held a prestigious launch event for corporate guests on Thursday 12th June. Previously a Jurys Inn branded hotel, the central London hotel recently re-branded as a DoubleTree by Hilton London – Chelsea under a franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide.
The Royal Ascot themed event, which showcased the 172 bedroom hotel’s stylish new look, did not disappoint with a varied programme of entertainment including a caricaturist and ‘A Day at the Race’s’ themed activities including a horse racing simulator. Plus live music was provided by dynamic rock, funk and jazz band Bellissima.
Guests were greeted with Champagne, Pimms and delicious picnic themed treats prepared by the Chef as they entered the DoubleTree by Hilton London – Chelsea lobby, where they were invited to relax, mingle and explore the recently refurbished rooms.
Following a short welcome from the hotel’s General Manager Anthony Barrett, guests were treated to a set by London based party band Bellissima whilst enjoying fresh canapés followed by a trip to an indulgent chocolate fountain and candy floss machine. Guests were also encouraged to strike a pose in a photo booth in the hotel lobby.
The evening saw guests get the chance to win a fantastic raffle prize of two tickets for ‘The View at the Shard’ followed by a 3 course dinner at Marco Pierre White’s Steak and Alehouse restaurant.
The coveted titles of ‘Best Dressed Male’ and ‘Best Dressed Female’ were awarded to Rossi Hawkins and Elaine Keast from Explora Security, both winning an overnight hotel stay for two.
As part of the rebranding programme, the hotel has undergone a major refurbishment over the past six months, including stylish new bedrooms and bathrooms complete with signature DoubleTree by Hilton amenities including the Sweet Dreams™ by DoubleTree sleep experience and CITRON Honey & Coriander by Crabtree & Evelyn® Bath Products.
