Croydon is becoming the unlikely destination for an eclectic cuisine and a few weeks ago we decided to try Yumn. With two locations in south London, Yumn serves up food from almost every part of the world, all whilst using the freshest, high-quality, unique ingredients.
The menu features classics such as their Herb-Crusted Rump of Lamb, cooked in their high-heat Josper Grill – an enclosed barbecue known to create the juiciest, tender dishes around. Meanwhile, we tried the drinks selection especially the cocktails which were simply amazing. The waiter mentioned that their local beer is supplied from the Meantime Brewery in Greenwich which is an ode to the huge f&b community of suppliers in South London. Yumn is certainly a restaurant to watch and you can now nominate them for this year’s British Restaurant Awards.
