From Cartier watches to Fine Dining….

3.97Kviews

In a building which was once home to  Cartier’s watchmaking empire seats a  five-floor Mayfair townhouse now home to Onima.

Onima is a restaurant which is fast becoming the talk of Mayfair and London at large.  Looking for an ideal spot to eat, drink and socialise?  Then look no further as Onima provides you comfort, fine dining and a general unrivalled luxury experience. The cuisine is a mixture of Mediterranean and Asian flavours, while the cocktail collection – spearheaded by the likes of Purple Rain, a  beguiling blend of mezcal & grapefruit, cardamom, prickly pear, aquafaba & soda – mirrors this
culinary coupling, effortlessly merging the familiar with more far-flung ingredients. Over the next few months, this unique  social hub will complement its existing ground floor bar and restaurant and first-floor
restaurant with a luxuriously appointed private lounge and the pièce de résistance, a  stunning glass-enclosed rooftop terrace.

Dishes we sampled included beef tartare with orange ponzu sauce, heritage tomatoes & celery; King crab salad with seaweed & caviar dressed with yuzu, spring onion & truffle and Pineapple carpaccio with cardamom, star anise & coconut pannacotta.
