Chelsea Football Club launches new restaurant

Chelsea Football Club has launched its new steakhouse, Marco Grill, located onsite at its Stamford Bridge venue on the popular Fulham Road.

Previously a fine dining restaurant, Marco Grill now boasts a more affordable and uncomplicated menu with Head Chef Roger Pizey – having worked with Marco Pierre White for more than 30 years – bringing his personal touch and inspirational flair to the menu that celebrates the best of British cuisine. Dishes include a range of 35-day-aged steaks and signature sharing platters, including the 28oz Porterhouse and the 35oz Tomahawk using award-winning beef from British Butcher Donald Russell along with traditional fish and chips and grilled Dorset lemon sole.

Interiors at Marco Grill have been softened slightly to reflect the menu offering, yet signature design pieces – including the glittering Swarovski crystal-studded pillar – remain at the heart of the restaurant.

Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Brand at Chelsea Football Club, comments: “We are really excited about our new venture at Marco Grill.  We have listened to our diners and stripped back our menus to offer fantastic steaks, grills and sides without the expected price tag associated with such quality dining from a celebrity chef. Our chef has hand-selected the finest locally sourced ingredients to bring the best steaks in London to visitors and residents of the capital and in particular our local diners of Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea. We look forward to welcoming them all to Marco Grill.”

Marco Grill is open Tuesday – Saturday from 6.30pm and is also available exclusively for parties, weddings and corporate events for up to 100 guests.
