Luxury Swedish bed manufacturer, Hästens, officially launched its new Notting Hill showroom at an exclusive reception on 6th November 2018. The space is the brand’s largest UK store so far and features its complete range of beds, linens and accessories.
Guests at the star-studded event included model Jodie Kidd, DJs Ashley James and Charlotte de Carle, former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and her husband model Max Rogers, Sky presenter Sarah Jane Mee and television personality Matt Johnson. Also in attendance were leading names in the interior design and hospitality industry, bloggers, influencers and top UK and international press.
Throughout the evening, guests were offered seasonal canapés, champagne and Seedlip cocktails while enjoying the beds and a specially commissioned artwork by Veronica Hodges. Crafted entirely from paper, the work was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hästens’ iconic blue check design.
Located at 140 Notting Hill Gate, the new showroom is the first in the UK to feature the new Sleep Spa concept, a design that uses music and lighting to create a harmonious atmosphere that helps visitors truly relax.
Speaking of the new showroom, Hästens’ Global Retail Director, Ana Mladenovic, said “Notting Hill was a natural choice for the new showroom. Situated at the heart of leafy West London – a location famous for its colourful townhouses and the market on Portobello Road – it is an iconic part of the city”.
