The Sky is the Limit for new London club- Zinc
Last year, we were invited to the launch of Zinc, a vibrant late night club offering cocktails, dancing and DJS as well as spectacular views over the capital, will launch on the 31st floor of the iconic Centre Point building. Located on the level below the stunning Paramount restaurant and overseen by General Manager Greg Ballester, Zinc opened Friday and Saturday evenings and, with a series of world class DJs playing a unique blend of beach house, melodic, hard house and electro and a 24-hour license, it’s destined to be a hot spot from dusk to dawn. The launch itself featured a few Chelsea Monthly regulars… and there was Johnny Vegas who grabbed onto his 4 bottles of beer with the tightest grip i had seen for a long time whilst talking to us about why Zinc is infact a great concept!! Fanatstic. On arrival, we entered the stylish reception area and then moved into the dramatic bar area. The design was put together by dynamic Studio Wick,Zinc’s design is both unique and engaging, with features including, a ‘snake’ inspired velvet chaise longue winding its ways down one entire side of the lounge, fretworking adorning the walls, cutting edge lighting and a 10ft Tom Dixon designed bar made from the bar’s namesake, Zinc, with a futuristic panelling design. If you are looking for a backdrop for any drinking occasion then look no further.
Zinc was brought to London by the charismatic Pierre Condou, who has over thirty years experience in the nightlife industry, with previous projects including Bistro Bruno, L’Odeon and Century Club. He sums up the new project:
“We’ve created Zinc with a sense of imagination, style and fun. We hope to welcome you to our new venue very soon, the sky’s the limit!”
