Classical Brit Award-winning Tasmin Little OBE to lead performance at iconic venue

Charity Hearts in Harmony this month hosts a classical music evening in London on Thursday 23rd June, to raise funds for a new heart defibrillator for children’s hospital Great Ormond Street Hospital. The evening, entitled Tasmin Little & Orpheus Sinfonia, will star Classic Brit Award- winning Tasmin Little OBE and will be held at grand concert venue St John’s Smiths Square in Westminster.
Tasmin Little will join critically acclaimed conductor Thomas Carroll, prize-winning pianist David Malusá and an orchestra of young musicians, to perform Orpheus Sinfonia. The evening begins with a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm. Mozart’s Don Giovanni is set to open the concert, followed by a Chopin piano showpiece. Tasmin Little will then give a performance of Vaughan Williams poignant The Lark Ascending – voted the nation’s favourite work, and for which Tasmin Little has received international critical acclaim.
The concert will then draw to a close with Beethoven’s magnificent fifth symphony.
