Italian restaurant Ca’puccino introduces Aperitivo

737views

Ca’puccino is the new coffee,  bar and restaurant that has recently arrived in London from Milan. Situated on the  King’s Road in Chelsea. They specialise in authentic Italian food and beverages with a creative spin.

When we arrived at Ca’puccino on one of the quiet Monday afternoons,  it turned out to be a rather small café not typical of some of the luxury restaurants in Chelsea. We sat down on a small table in a rather cramped space.  However, space issues aside we were turned around by the delicious food and beverages outlined on the menu.

We kicked off proceedings with  mimosa cocktails and then opted for a selection of sweet and savoury canapés, which is part of Ca’puccino’s new Aperitivo offer. Aperitivo is a wonderful early evening tradition in Italy consisting of a selection of Prosecco-based Italian classic cocktail accompanied by a selection on savoury canapés.  Aperitivo is available between 5pm-7pm and is the perfect way to finish any day.

This was followed up with a classic Italian salad Caprese with fresh cherry tomatoes, soft mozzarella and avocado for the creative turn.  The fresh ingredients made this simple salad delicious as well as the beautiful presentation. We finished the evening with coffee, tea and two very worthwhile desserts. The tea got served in a pot with fresh chamomile. The apricot almonds pie had soft tasty cream with a very nice cake bottom. I would recommend the Ca’puccino specialty the Strawberry Tiramisu, beautifully served in a long glass.

Although Ca’puccino is a small restaurant and café best suited for light lunches. I would certainly recommend stopping by for a tasty Italian dessert and a good cup of coffee or an Aperitivo cocktail to finish your day.
